Rene Ranger

New Zealand-born rugby union participant who became known for using wing and centre for the Blues in Super Rugby and Northland in the ITM Glass. He produced his professional debut for Northland Taniwha. He was billed with physical assault in ’09 2009 and was suspended for just one game because of this; he was discovered not guilty from the criminal offense in 2012. His uncle performed rugby for Western world Hartlepool in the 1950s. He and Jerome Kaino both performed for the Blues.
