Ray Manzarek

Keyboardist and founding person in The Doorways, an iconic rock-band that was prevalent from 1965 until 1973. He published the infamous key pad intro to “Light My Open fire,” among the Doorways’ biggest strikes and was also a co-founder of Nite Town and Manzarek-Krieger. His unique passion was golf ball, but he stop his senior high school group when the trainer pressed him to try out the guard placement rather than his preferred ahead or middle positions. He performed The Doorways’ bass lines on his Fender Rhodes piano because the music group didn’t possess a bassist. He wedded Dorothy Manzarek on Dec 21, 1967, plus they experienced one son called Pablo. The Doorways contains drummer John Densmore, guitarist Robby Krieger and vocalist and songwriter Jim Morrison.
