Ray Eames

Artist and developer who created iconic contemporary furniture, furthermore to graphic styles and short movies. Among her patients was presented with permanent placement within the assortment of The Whitney Museum of American Artwork. She went to Bennett Women’s University in Millbrook, NY, in 1933, of which she was mentored in abstract expressionist painting with the revered Hans Hofmann. She founded the American Abstract Performers group in 1936, whose function would be shown at Manhattan’s Riverside Museum in 1937. She and her hubby, Charles Eames, had been honored the Royal Silver Medal in the Royal Institute of United kingdom Architects. Her parents, Alexander and Edna Burr Kaiser, had been surviving in Sacramento when she was created. She was raised with his sibling Maurice. Her hubby was her style partner; his uncle was famed St. Louis architect William S. Eames. She and her hubby had been early advocates of Frank Lloyd Wright’s innovative styles.
