Ray Brown


Grammy Award-winning jazz bassist who was simply inducted in to the Jazz Hall Of Popularity in 2003. He discovered to try out the trombone in order to avoid conforming, as his peers had been learning the piano. He composed the melody that became the theme melody for The Steve Allen Present. His parents elevated him in Pittsburgh. He was good friends with Ella Fitzgerald.
