She visited graduate college to pursue a master’s level in optometry. She was a 2010 Haiti earthquake survivor. She’s originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She’s also half Filipino. She became 1st runner-up behind Miss France Iris Mittenaere at Miss Universe 2017.
