Randy Piper

Best known like a guitarist and songwriter for the Los Angeles-based metallic music group W.A.S.P., this Texas-born rock and roll musician also founded a music group known as Randy Piper’s Pet. His albums are the Last Control (with W.A.S.P.) and Violent New Breed of dog (with Randy Piper’s Pet). The initial incarnation of W.A.S.P. was a music group called Sister; just before getting W.A.S.P. in 1982, Sister was renamed Circus Circus. W.A.S.P.’s live shows, which often presented an on-stage meats grinder into which living rats had been thrown, had been harshly criticized by pet rights activists. Given birth to William Randall Piper in San Antonio, Tx, he later on relocated to Long Seaside, California, where, during his senior high school years, he opened up a music shop. He and vocalist and guitarist Blackie Lawless had been both founding users of W.A.S.P.
