Randy Debarge


Famous through the 1980s as an associate of his family’s DeBarge soul group, this rhythm & blues vocalist and bassist was the lyricist and among the singers from the 1982 hit “I LOVE It.” His group’s additional popular songs consist of “Tempo of the night time” and “ALL OF THIS Like.” He and his nine siblings was raised in Detroit and Grand Rapids, Michigan. Before developing DeBarge and getting him up to speed, his elder brothers Tommy and Bobby produced a funk music group called Change that signed using the Motown Information label. He battled with medication and alcohol complications and came into a rehabilitation system in the first 2000s. After departing Michigan, he resolved in LA, California. He fathered five kids. He and his fellow DeBarges created their second recording, All This Like, with help from your niece of Motown Information founder Berry Gordy Jr.
