Globe Hall of Popularity golfer who was simply one of the better players in the 1930s. He began using the PGA in the first 1930s, then quit the overall game out of annoyance, only to come back a couple of years afterwards. He released a golfing manual around 1940, which some believe triggered him to be self-conscious about his golf swing and get rid of it. He was raised around Dallas, Tx. He was created a year aside from another Texas golfing great, Ben Hogan.
