Known for his Buxtehude Bull Award-winning novel Perish Lagune der Galeeren as well as for his Friedrich-Gerstäcker-Preis-winning function Abby Lynn – Verbannt ans Ende der Welt, this internationally well-known writer of thrillers, historical fiction, has, and youthful adult novels provides sold over 6 million copies of his functions. Early in his lifestyle, he educated as an opera vocalist and in addition performed using a German rock and roll group known as Union Jack port. He continued to study rules, movie theater & film, and philology on the College or university of Cologne. He had written dozens of books, like the Jessica and Valerie series, beneath the pencil name of Ashley Carrington. He grew up in East Berlin and Düsseldorf, Germany. In the first 1980s, he and his wife Helga resolved on a plantation in Virginia, U.S.A.; they afterwards split their time taken between Florida and Germany. An enormous fan from the German rock-band The Scorpions, he followed the group’s people (including vocalist Klaus Meine) on several tours and published a 1980 non-fiction work about the favorite band.
