The wife of Ruler Juan Carlos I of Spain as well as the mom of Ruler Felipe VI of Spain, Queen Sofia of Spain was created Princess Sophia Margarita Victoria Frederika of Greece and Denmark. She spent her child years in Greece, Egypt, South Africa, and Germany, and later on went to Cambridge University’s Fitzwilliam University in Britain. She participated in the 1960 Olympic Video games like a reserve person in Greece’s champion cruising team. Created to Frederica of Hanover and Ruler Paul of Greece, she was raised with more youthful siblings called Princess Irene and Prince (later on Ruler) Constantine II. Her relationship to Juan Carlos of Spain started in 1962 and created three kids, including Duchesses Elena and Cristina. She actually is the grandmother of Princess Leonor of Spain.
