Given birth to Albert Johnson but known best by his stage name Prodigy, he rose to popularity as an associate from the rap group Mobb Deep. He got hardcore gangsta rap to a fresh, more extreme level. His debut record was the 1996 discharge “Hell on the planet” within Mobb Deep. In 2011, he had written the reserve “My Infamous Lifestyle: The Autobiography of Mobb Deep’s Prodigy.” His mom, Fatima Collins, was an associate of the favorite young lady group The Crystals. His grandfather was saxophonist Budd Johnson.
