French sculptor who produced monuments and statues in France. He produced a double life-size sculpture of General Valhubert. He examined on the École Gratuite de Dessin in Paris and in the studio room of Charles-Antoine Bridan. His most widely known function was his monument for the Empress Joséphine, commissioned by Eugène and Hortense de Beauharnais. He and his wife acquired one daughter plus they had been all buried jointly. He taught on the École des Beaux-Arts where Raymond Hood examined.
