Philip Sidney

Prominent British poet from the Elizabethan era who’s most remembered for any pastoral romance entitled The Countess of Pembroke’s Arcadia. He published Astrophel and Stella, some sonnets, following a 1575 ending up in Penelope Devereux influenced the task. He passed away at age group thirty-two after fighting around the Protestant part in the Fight of Zutphen. He was among three children given birth to to Sir Henry Sidney and Woman Mary Dudley. Storyline components of Sidney’s Arcadia had been lent by William Shakespeare and found in the popular tragedy Ruler Lear.
