British actor known best for playing the role of Dennis Tanner about the tv screen soap opera Coronation Road through the 1960s. He came back towards the series in 2011 and was identified by the Guinness Publication of World Information for having got the longest distance between appearances on a single show. Before getting solid on Coronation Road, he studied in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Artwork (RADA) for 3 years. He offered voice-over function for Fifteen to 1, a popular Route 4 quiz display. He was created in Lancashire, Britain to Bertha and Philip Lowrie. In 1986, he made an appearance on Galloping Galaxies, a English children’s series that starred Kenneth Williams.
