Philip Lee Williams

An American novelist, poet, documentary filmmaker, and essayist, he’s most widely known for his novels, A Distant Flame (2004) and Sluggish Dance in Autumn (1988). The previous function received the Michael Shaara Honor for Superiority in Civil Battle Fiction in 2004. He made up music and published poetry in his teenagers. He later on majored in journalism in the University or college of Georgia, graduating in 1972. He released seventeen books, including twelve books, between 1988 and 2012. He also gained accolades like a journalist for the Athens Daily Information, The Madisonian, and additional Georgia magazines. He and his two siblings had been created in Athens, Georgia to Ruth Sisk Williams and Marshall Woodson Williams. In 1972, he wedded Linda Rowley, with whom he consequently had two kids. He was inducted in to the Georgia Authors Hall of Popularity, at the very top group that also matters author Wayne Dickey among its rates.
