Philip Lamantia

American poet from the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Renaissance and known for a 1946 work entitled Erotic Poems. His later on publications consist of Narcotica, Ekstasis, and Bloodstream of the Air flow. He released his 1st poem when he was fifteen yrs . old. Quickly thereafter, he remaining his California senior high school to go after a literary profession in NEW YORK. He resided among Indigenous American tribes in Nevada and Mexico through the 1950s. He was wedded to fellow writer Nancy Peters, who also offered as his literary editor. He was present when beatnik poet Allen Ginsberg offered the first general public reading of “Howl,” an iconic function of the Defeat generation.
