An American author and journalist, he’s most widely known for his 1977 Vietnam Battle memoir A Rumor of Battle. His other functions include Method of Get away (memoir); The Voyage (fiction); and In the Shadows from the Morning hours (nonfiction). After graduating from Loyola College or university in Chicago, he proved helpful being a reporter for The Chicago Tribune. He provided lectures at occasions sponsored with the Country wide Reserve Committee, the American Library Association, as well as the American Web publishers’ Association. He was raised in Westchester, Illinois. He afterwards wedded Leslie Ware. He was once a visitor for the Charlie Rose Present.
