Pete Rademacher

The first fighter ever sold to fight for the world heavyweight championship in his first professional bout. He gained the 1949, 1951, 1952, and 1953 Seattle Golden Gloves game titles aswell as an Olympic silver medal in 1956 before turning professional in 1957. He put together a profession record of 15-7-1. He and his daughters transported the Olympic Torch down the roads of Cleveland, Ohio. He fought Heavyweight champ Floyd Patterson in his initial professional fight.
