Pete Dawkins

1958 Heisman Trophy winner who became a 1988 NJ candidate for the U.S. Senate. He defeated polio at age group 11. After getting the nation’s best football participant, he became a U.S. Military Brigadier General, gaining two Bronze Superstars for Valor due to his Vietnam provider. He fathered two sons with Judith Wright, whom he wedded in 1961. He defeat out Billy Cannon in Heisman voting in 1958, the same calendar year he also was presented with All-American honors as well as the Maxwell Award.
