Perri Reid

Vocalist and songwriter known very best for her period as the supervisor of multi-platinum R&B group TLC. She also goes on the name Pebbles and rebranded herself being a gospel vocalist after a spiritual revelation in 1997. She got her musical begin in 1981 being a back-up vocalist for Con Funk Shun. She released her initial solo record in 1987. Her contentious romantic relationship with TLC (they’d previously blamed her because of their bankruptcy) found a head following the release from the film CrazySexyCool: The TLC Tale, when she sued Viacom for $40 million because of its depiction of her. Delivered Perri McKissack, she wedded LA Reid and transformed her name in 1989. They divorced in 1996 and she was afterwards wedded to Otis Nixon from 2000 to 2004. She’s two kids. She collaborated with P. Diddy for the 1995 tune “You.”
