Czech composer who was simply killed through the Holocaust. He was appreciated for his melody cycles and string quartets. He enjoyed folk and jazz. He examined structure with Jan Kunc and Vilém Petrželka on the Brno Conservatory from 1919 until 1921. Then took a professional course with composer Leoš Janáček. He was compelled to surface in the Nazi propaganda film “Der Führer schenkt den Juden great Stadt” while he was a prisoner on the Theresienstadt focus camp. He was the kid of the shoemaker. He wedded Sona Jakobson in 1935. He was murdered due to the tyrannical, despotic insurance policies of Adolf Hitler, among the many performers whose lives had been taken to a early end with the Nazi regime.
