All-Star NHL middle who joined up with the Detroit Crimson Wings in 2001 and became known for his quick, elusive puck handling skills, offering rise to the word Datsyukian. He helped lead the Crimson Wings to Stanley Glass Championships in 2002 and 2008. He was found out by Detroit Crimson Wings scouts while playing in the Russian Superleague as well as the Wings chosen him 171st general in the 1998 NHL Draft.
