Pavel Datsyuk


All-Star NHL middle who joined up with the Detroit Crimson Wings in 2001 and became known for his quick, elusive puck handling skills, offering rise to the word Datsyukian. He helped lead the Crimson Wings to Stanley Glass Championships in 2002 and 2008. He was found out by Detroit Crimson Wings scouts while playing in the Russian Superleague as well as the Wings chosen him 171st general in the 1998 NHL Draft. He was honored the Selke Trophy for the league’s best defensive forwards three direct years from 2008 to 2010. He announced his pension in the NHL in 2016, citing a wish to play in the KHL in his indigenous Russia. He wedded Svetlana Datsyuk in 2001. The few welcomed a little girl called Elizabeth in 2004. Once they divorced this year 2010, he wedded Maria Datsyuk in 2012, with whom he previously daughter called Vasilisa in 2014. He was teammates with Steve Yzerman over the Detroit Crimson Wings from 2001 to 2006.
