Pauline Frederick

Biography

Acclaimed Broadway actress who also became a star from the big screen. She made an appearance in the 1932 creation of When the Bough Breaks and in such silent and early audio films as AS SOON AS Before, THE GIRL in the event, as well as the Appreciate That Lives. She starred in such stage productions as Madame X, THE LADY in Light, and Joseph and His Brethren. She recommended performing in silent movies to performing in “talkies.” She was created in Boston, Massachusetts. She passed away in the LA area at age fifty-five. Her solid resemblance to Joan Crawford led her to become ensemble as the youthful actress’ mom in the 1931 film This MODERN DAY.
