Perhaps most widely known for playing Officer Grossman in NBC’s past due 1970s and early 1980s series CHiPs, this Fresh York-born actor also appeared in episodes of Three’s a Masses, The Waltons, and M*A*S*H*. He was raised immersed in display business: his dad, Richard Linke, was acting professional Andy Griffith’s supervisor. He aimed and published a play entitled Save it for the Stage: THE LIFE SPAN of Reilly. The piece became the foundation for the 2006 film THE LIFE SPAN of Reilly. His 1st relationship — to musician Francesca Draper — led to children called Rose, Ryan, and Jasper, and finished with Draper’s 1986 loss of life from cancer. Pursuing their 1991 wedding ceremony, he and his second wife, Christine Healy, welcomed a kid called Lily. He performed the part of Collins Hedgeworth in the 1977 Ron Howard film Grand Theft Car.
