Poet, writer, editor, and instructor who helped to determine the superb trustworthiness of the Iowa Authors’ Workshop. His best-known poetic functions consist of Break the Heart’s Anger, Corn, and THE TERM of Like. He was created in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and received a Rhodes Scholarship or grant to wait Oxford University or college. Worn Globe, his debut poetry collection, received the Yale Group of Younger Poets Competition. He founded the International Composing Program in the University or college of Iowa. He was raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa because the child of Evelyn Reinheiner and Thomas Allen Engle. He trained Philip Levine in the Iowa Authors’ Workshop.
