Well known for his work in the Irish folk, pop, and politics rock genres, he’s perhaps renowned for his singles “The Island,” “Crazy Dreams,” “Metal Claw,” and “Only the same kind of Story,” aswell for his Irish folk album Welcome Right here Kind Stranger (1978) and his rock album Accurate FOR YOU PERSONALLY (1983). Early in his profession, he performed using the Irish rings The Johnstons and Planxty. In the middle 1970s, he and Irish folk musician Andy Irvine released a music duo and documented the critically acclaimed recording Andy Irvine/Paul Brady. The child of music instructor Sean Brady, he spent his youngsters in Region Tyrone, North Ireland, and later on lived and worked well in Dublin, Ireland. His many musical collaborators consist of flautist Matt Molloy and fiddler Tommy Individuals.
