A primary dancer with the brand new York Town Ballet, McBride was a muse to both George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins. Her renowned dance roles consist of Swanilda in Coppelia, Hermia inside a Midsummer Night’s Desire, and presented performer in Opus 19/The Dreamer. She started her profession with the brand new York Town Ballet in the past due 1950s and, in 1961, became the youngest primary ballerina in the business’s background. She was acknowledged in the 2014 Kennedy Middle Honors. Given birth to in Teaneck, NJ, she later resided and worked well in both NY, NY and Charlotte, NEW YORK. Her relationship to French-born ballet dancer Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux created two kids. In 1970, she was presented in the premiere of Who Cares?, a Balanchine-choreographed NEW YORK Ballet production offering music by George Gershwin.
