Patricia MacLachlan


Children’s article writer who won the 1986 Newbery Medal for Sarah, Simple and High. Her other functions within the Sarah, Simple and High series consist of Skylark, Caleb’s Tale, and More Ideal Compared to the Moon. She went to the University or college of Connecticut. In 1980, at age forty-two, she released her first book, Through Grandpa’s Eye. Her several stand-alone novels consist of Tomorrow’s Wizard, Unclaimed Treasure, and Trip. She was created in Cheyenne, Wyoming. In 1962, she wedded longtime partner, Robert MacLachlan. She’s two sons, John and Jamie. Her well-known book, Sarah, Simple and High, was adapted right into a 1991 TV film starring celebrity Glenn Close .
