Panagiotis Giannakis

Basketball participant nicknamed The Dragon who afterwards became coach from the Greek country wide team, being successful the EuroBasket 2005 yellow metal medal. He and Aris Thessaloniki earned three consecutive Euroleague Last Fours in 1988, 1989, and 1990. He agreed upon a two-and-a-half-year training agreement with Olympiacos in 2008, and started getting 1.1 million euros annually. He wedded Eugenia, with whom he fathered two kids, Kalliope and Dimitris; his four brothers all passed away during the period of ten years. He and Nikos Galis became legends from the Greek national group.
