Biography

Well-known for her wide repertoire as well as for all of the orchestras she’s worked with. She’s been honored honors like the Avery Fisher Award for her efforts to instrumental music. She researched under Shirley Givens using the teacher’s self-named technique; Frank after that performed for the very first time with the brand new York String Orchestra at Carnegie Hall when she was eighteen. She was in the faculties on the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins College or university, aswell as the Curtis Institute of Music and SUNY Stony Brook. She wedded Andy Simionescu, who also has violin. She was created to and elevated by world-renowned pianist Claude Frank.
