Oskar Schlemmer

Painter, sculptor, and developer from the Bauhaus College. He was most widely known for “Triadisches Ballett” that changed stars into geometrical designs. He was a valued college student of Christian Landenberger, Friedrich von Keller, and Adolf Hölzel. He offered as Grasp of Type for the Bauhaus Theater Workshop from 1923. He produced the “Fensterbilder” group of mystical paintings. He was raised the youngest of six kids. He wedded Helena Tutein in 1920. He and Paul Klee both trained in the Bauhaus College.
