Olive Higgins Prouty

An American novelist and poet, she actually is most widely known for such works as Today, Voyager and Stella Dallas. The previous work is section of her well-known Vale book series. She graduated from Smith University in 1904. She released her initial literary function, Bobbie, General Supervisor, in 1913. Following loss of life of her little girl, she experienced a nervous break down that lasted almost 2 yrs. With her hubby, Lewis Prouty, she acquired four kids. She inspired the profession of poet Sylvia Plath.
