Olga Knipper

A renowned Russian stage celebrity of the later 19th and early 20th decades, Knipper performed in the Moscow Artwork Theatre’s primary productions of Anton Chekhov’s famous has Uncle Vanya (as Elena); The Cherry Orchard (as Madame Ranevskaya); Three Sisters (as Masha); as well as the Seagull (simply because Arkadina). She examined visual artwork and music during her youth years and continued to train being a theater artist on the Musico-Dramatic College from the Moscow Philharmonic Culture. There, she had taken classes with Moscow Artwork Theater co-founder Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko. She was fluent in German, British, and French, aswell such as Russian. She was created in Glazov, Russia, to German parents Anna and Leonard Knipper. From 1901 until his loss of life of tuberculosis in 1904, she was wedded to Russian doctor and playwright Anton Chekhov. She was an associate of the initial acting firm of Constantin Stanislavski’s Moscow Artwork Theatre.
