Founder from the LEGO Group business who developed the name Lego. He was a carpenter who began making wooden playthings in 1932. He developed the word Lego, which originated from the Danish terms leg godt, indicating play well. He was the 10th boy created to his parents. He was wedded to Kirstine Sörensen and he was the daddy of Johannes, Karl, Godtfred and Gerhardt Kirk Christiansen. Probably one of the most well-known toys on the planet, the plaything itself was modified right into a film known as The Lego Film, which starred Chris Pratt.
