Norman Nicholson

United kingdom poet and author known for the vernacular and spiritual character of such poems as “Older Man in a Cricket Match.” He also had written several spiritual verse dramas, including Birth by Drowning along with a Match for the Devil. He received sanatorium treatment for tuberculosis when he was an adolescent. His literary legacy was celebrated from the 2006 establishment from the Norman Nicholson Culture. He wedded Yvonne Edith Gardner, a college instructor, in 1956. His function was adored by celebrated Irish poet Seamus Heaney.
