Norman Hunter

Renowned central defender for Leeds United, who spent 14 years using the club, and 6 even more with Bristol and Barnsley. He became a member of Leeds at age group 15, quitting his electric fitter apprenticeship. He was nicknamed Bites Yer Hip and legs, after a fan-made banner organized in the 1972 FA Glass last. The banner was observed by announcer Brian Clough. He was created in Gateshead, State Durham, Britain. Gordon Brown honored him a medal for his function for the 1966 English group that earned the World Glass.
