Hall of Popularity NHL middle who led the group in goals in 1965 with 42 for the Detroit Crimson Wings. He spent the majority of his profession using the Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs and retired with 490 profession goals. He used the Edmonton Flyers in the WHL, the minimal league affiliate from the Detroit Crimson Wings, prior to starting his NHL profession. He played focus on a series with fellow Hall of Famers Gordie Howe and Ted Lindsay during his second period over the Detroit Crimson Wings. He was raised in the city of Provost, in Alberta, Canada. He was delivered to the Toronto Maple Leafs in the same trade that brought Frank Mahovlich to Detroit.
