Noora Noor


Well-known for her recordings in the blues, jazz, and neo soul genres, this acclaimed singer released 3 albums — Curious, All We Am, and Soul Deep — between 1999 and 2009. She received a 2009 Spellemannsprisen (Norwegian Grammy Honor) and performed in the 2011 Eurovision Music Contest. She started carrying out when she was simply eight years of age and had guaranteed a Warner Music agreement by enough time she was fifteen. Her debut recording included such strike singles as “Standard” and “Require You.” She added to a 2007 documenting made by the Norwegian hip-hop group Madcon and in addition collaborated with users from the American golf swing and blues music group Small Charlie & The Nightcats. The child of the Somali dad and a Yemeni mom, she was raised in both United Arab Emirates and Norway. Nicknamed the “Norwegian Queen of Spirit,” she was frequently set alongside the American spirit music diva Aretha Franklin.
