Nolwenn Leroy

French chanteuse who earned the second period of the truth show Superstar Academy, and released two number-one singles. She was inspired by her music instructor to take in the violin, with age 13 gained a musical skill competition that allowed her to go to Timbuktu, Mali. She spent a season in rural Hamilton, Ohio, which motivated her renditions of “Scarborough Good” and “Whiskey in the Jar” in her U.S. debut record. He dad Jean-Luc Le Magueresse was a specialist footballer, but he and her mom divorced when she was 11. Her tone of voice and singing design was in comparison to that of Kate Bush, who Nowlenn protected in a few of her concerts.
