Nicky Campbell


Journalist and tv web host known for hosting the Scottish edition of Steering wheel of Lot of money, and Watchdog, the buyer affairs plan. He went to the School of Aberdeen and afterwards became a jingle article writer at Northsound Radio in Aberdeen. He composed a jazz golf swing album in ’09 2009 for professional Mark Moraghan known as Moonlight’s BACK Style. He wedded journalist Tina Ritchie in 1997, and both acquired four daughters. He hosted Steering wheel of Fortune, that was hosted by Pat Sajak in the U.S. edition.

1He was awarded the OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2015 Queen's BIrthday Honours List for his services to Children. He is a Patron of the British Association for Adoption and Fostering in London, England.
2His family name was Lackey, but he was adopted at nine days old by the Campbells.
3In 2011, he was interviewed for Sir Jimmy Savile: As It Happened (2011), a BBC tribute to the late presenter. In 2012, following mounting evidence that Savile was a prolific sexual abuser during his lifetime, Campbell donated his £250 fee to the National Association for People Abused in Childhood.
