Proponent of feminine suffrage as well as the temperance motion, who became among Canada’s best-known civil legal rights activists. She became a fixture within the Winnipeg women’s privileges motion, composing the 1908 book Sowing Seed products in Danny about them. She led the so-called Individuals Case, a landmark Canadian decision that founded ladies could serve within the Canadian Senate. She experienced five kids with her spouse Wesley, who was simply supportive of her function. Alice Paul, a modern of hers, also led the women’s suffrage motion.
