Indian man who assassinated peace leader Mahatma Gandhi by shooting him in January 1948. He was an associate of right-wing nationalist organizations just like the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and was ultimately hanged for the assassination. He went to college in Baramati and later on decreased out of senior high school to be an activist. His offences resulted in the short-term banning from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh nationalist group to which he belonged. His parents elevated him as a woman until the delivery of his small sibling, Gopal. He was portrayed by acting professional Horst Buchholz in the 1963 film Nine Hours to Rama.
