Biography

American ethnomusicologist known for transcribing traditional Local American and BLACK music. She went to the Country wide Conservatory of Music of America and analyzed in European countries with composer Ferruccio Busoni. She also made up her own initial music while implanting Local American affects into her compositions. She was created in NEW YORK, but lived a few of her existence in Paris, France. She was an individual friend of U.S. Chief executive Theodore Roosevelt, who backed her work.
