Natalia Karp

Concert musician and Holocaust survivor who had an effective performing career very well into her nineties. She and her sister had been spared from loss of life within the Kraków-Płaszów focus camp after she impressed Nazi commandant Amon Göth with her interpretation of Chopin’s Nocturne in C-sharp minimal. She gained politics asylum in London following the war and finally joined up with the Krakow Philharmonic. She once provided a concert honoring Oskar Schindler, the savior of several Jews Her initial husband, attorney Julius Hubler, didn’t approve of her executing profession. He was wiped out around 1943 within a bomb raid. She was educated by Artur Schnabel in the past due 1920s.
