Nancy Bird Walton

Aviation pioneer who broke straight down the strict gender obstacles of her period by founding the Australian Females Pilots’ Association in 1950. At age group nineteen, she became the youngest Australian girl ever to acquire a pilot’s permit. She quit college at age group thirteen and started taking traveling lessons in 1933. She was announced an Australian Living Treasure with the Country wide Trust of Australia in 1997. She wedded and got two kids with Charles Walton. She and Matt Hall are two of Australia’s most well-known pilots.
