Myles Horton

American educator and socialist who influenced a lot of the Civil Privileges Movement leaders including Dr. Martin Luther Ruler Jr. He analyzed folk colleges in Denmark to understand about community empowerment. In 1932 he cofounded the Highlander Folk College, which notably qualified civil rights innovator Rosa Parks ahead of her historic part in the Montgomery Bus Boycott. He wedded and experienced two kids with Zilphia Mae Johnson. He was known as “THE DADDY from the Civil Privileges Motion” by Wayne Bevel.
