Murphy Morobe

Biography

An integral figure in Southern Africa’s anti-apartheid movement who helped form the United Democratic Front in 1983. He became a member of the South African Pupil’s Movement in 1972. He spent three years in jail for his function in the Soweto Uprising of June 1976. He continues to be married and provides two kids. He offered his jail term together with South African politics prisoner Nelson Mandela.
