Mohsen Namjoo

Vocalist known for his infusion of traditional Iranian music with an increase of modern designs. He’s spent a lot of his profession beyond Iran, having attracted the ire of both Iranian judicial program and pro-monarchists. He began learning to enjoy music when he was 12 years of age and went to the School of Tehran to review movie theater and music. While surviving in Vienna, Austria, he was sentenced in absentia to five years in prison in Iran for his melody “Shams,” which included him singing elements of the Quran. He apologized for his activities, but was sentenced in any case. He includes a sibling named Hamid who’s an attorney. He wedded Bahar Sabzevari. He’s been known as “The Bob Dylan of Iran.”
