Miya Tachibana

Japanese synchronized swimmer and five-time Olympic medalist, successful 4 silvers and 1 bronze over 3 Olympics. She started practicing synchronized going swimming in elementary college. She won a complete of 4 sterling silver medals on the 2000 and 2004 Olympics. Her dad Mitsuo Tachibana also swam competitively. She competed in the 2004 Olympics where swimmer Michael Phelps gained an incredible six silver medals.
