Biography

Jamaican singer-songwriter known on her behalf 1964 cover from the Cadillacs’ track “My Young man Lollipop,” and popularized the “bluebeat” design. She and Roy Panton documented as Roy and Millie when she was an adolescent. Her achievement with “My Boy Lollipop” was significant for the reason that it was the very first main hit for Isle Records. Her dad was a sugars plantation overseer. She offered birth to some child. She briefly dated English pop celebrity Peter Asher.
